how to open a restaurant in california
Civil Rights?

How do you distinguish between what you consider to be universal human rights that should be protected in America as opposed to using government to enforce ‘special’ rights for select groups of people? Is there a difference? (for example, why a person who is blind, deaf or handicapped should have equal access to buildings and education but not require businesses to make changes to accommodate overweight people by law? You are also free to pose your own questions, for example are there groups other than Indians who might want to petition to open casinos in California? How about vegetarians wanting all restaurants to offer meat free meals by law?

I believe that if a group of people calling themselves “government” , decides to take responsibility enough to rule the people that are living on land, Then The “Government” better be ready to take on Full responsiblity instead of only the area s they want to, and throwing the headaches away. Meanwhile punishing those who act as they do.

For example, automatically, when a child is born, they are born into a world, where a “government” has decided that once that baby has grown to 18 years of age, they must work like a slave to get paper (money), in order to trade for shelter and food. Yet if that child does Not want to do that, and instead wants to live find a piece of land that no one lives on in that same “country” , and live off of the land by hunting and growing and building, they are not aloud to unless they give paper (money) to the “government” , and if this doesn t happen, then they will punish this human.

Not just that, but the “Government” takes enough responsiblity to say that if the child who is now 18 , if this individual wishes to end there own physical life, (because they don t want to live that way or for what ever reasons), that He will be punished if caught.

So , the “Government” will not provide a peacefull liquid for someone to have, if they wish to end there own life peacefully.

Instead, the person has to either live homeless without food. Slowly dieing . Or die in a horrible unforgettable way, which no sane person will do, for one wishes to die peacefull not horrible.

Yet this same “government” that will not allow a peacefull death , freedom for one to leave this “government”s rule. But will allow criminal s and murder’s to live in “prison s” where they are sheltered and given food , for free. !!

Civil Rights were taken away a Long time ago.

There are none anymore.

And no one is strong enough to take back our Freedom. There are too many chickens.

So You Want to Open a Restaurant! -A Simple Step-By-Step Process to Opening a Restaurant

$16.51

The induction into the Restaurant Hall of Fame inspired Tom Wilscam to write a book to help others achieve the dream of owning a successful restaurant. Initially, Tom owned and operated several well-known restaurants in Colorado and then took his restaurants national. He co-owned two franchise companies, and consulted on the opening of over 80 restaurants across the country. Additionally, Tom founded a company that later became known as Einstein Bros. Bagels. Tom’s career has spanned the development of concepts in the major segment of the restaurant industry—- fast food, fast casual and fine dining. While there are many "how to" books devoted to the restaurant industry, there are few, if any, on the step-by-step specifics of how to open a restaurant. So You Want to Open a Restaurant begins with the necessary first step of writing a Business Plan, and covers the essential critical steps in detail that most novices might never consider. Included are humorous, personal anecdotes related to Tom’s 50 years in the industry. If ever you want the satisfaction of sitting in your own successful restaurant, Tom Wilscams book is a guide to a perfect opening. Knowledge, Experience, Success, it’s all in this book. I call it: savoir-faire — I am Pierre Wolfe, and I should know. — Pierre Wolfe, Celebrity Chef and Radio Talk Show Host This book is a well-thought-out primer for anyone who wishes to open a restaurant. Author Tom Wilscam is a legend in Colorado, having mentored many of today’s successful restaurant owners. Readers will be able to use Tom’s experiences, both good and bad, to get started in what is a very difficult, but very rewarding, business. The days of "Mama cooks good chili and daddy can pour the drinks" are long gone. Today’s restaurant operators must have a solid foundation in hospitality business management principles. This book provides a great outline to get started, as well as a wonderful, personal description of the challenges and rewards of the restaurant business. — Peter M. Meersman, President & CEO, Colorado Restaurant Association This is a fabulous book. Have you ever considered opening a restaurant? The Arrows Cookbook: Cooking And Gardening From Maine's Most Beautiful Farmhouse Restaurant

The Arrows Cookbook: Cooking And Gardening From Maine’s Most Beautiful Farmhouse Restaurant

$32.89

Part how-to-garden primer, The Arrows Cookbook combines more than 150 delicious recipes with time-tested techniques for growing herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers in a book that reconnects us to the land and the seasons. Cooking food from the backyard garden or farmers’ market — or even using herbs grown in pots in a sunny window — goes beyond a passion for freshness. On an elemental level, the process reawakens the cook to a cycle of nature that our ancestors understood intuitively but that, for most of us, has been lost in the modern world. When chefs Clark Frasier and Mark Gaier left northern California to open their dream restaurant in southern Maine, they had no intention of becoming culinary pioneers. But in 1988 in Ogunquit, Maine, finding enough fresh vegetables and herbs to power a sophisticated restaurant was indeed a challenge. So, like all can-do Americans, they did something. A ragged field of witchgrass behind the restaurant was turned into a garden where they learned to coax a nine-month growing season out of the chilly earth. They built raised beds, saved seeds, researched heirlooms, consulted experts, and started seedlings. Today, that acre of Maine yields 270 varieties of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and edible flowers that provide 90 percent of the produce served at Arrows. Born of great necessity, the garden is the soul of this destination restaurant. In The Arrows Cookbook, Frasier and Gaier tell us how they do it, charting the timeless journey from seed to supper. Recipes celebrate each season — Asparagus with Mizuna and Blood Orange Vinaigrette and English Pea Soup in spring; Grilled Antipasto Platter and Rib-Eye Steak with Herbs and Caramelized Onions on a summer evening; Napa Cabbage and Apple Cole Slaw and Roast Pork Loin with Rosemary and Garlic for fall; and Escarole and White Bean Soup and Winter Greens with Pink Grapefruit and Red Onion for the chilly, short days of winter. The Arrows Cookbook: Cooking and Gardening from Maine’s Most Beautiful Farmhouse Restaurant

$34.99
